Herbert Harpotunities: 2nd Sat of each month
An informal harp session in the Herbert's café. The second saturday of each month, around 1.00 to 3.30. Caveat: The Herbert Cafe will be under new management from September, and so far we haven't been allowed to talk to the new company to confirm whether they still want to host the Harpotunities, so although we have dates planned, it is worth checking before making a long journey.
We mix tune swapping and sessioning with giving the public a chance to try out the harp and enjoying top cake from the cafe.
Free. We only ask that some harpers are happy to offer their instruments for the public have-a-go element.

The venue is also the bar and meeting place for long lost friends, so there's a lot of background noise - these are a resource for learners, more than easy listening.
