Learning the harp
There are no formal group classes running in the area at the moment. However there are opportunties to discover the instrument and teachers.
Harpotunities
These is an informal event held at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry. We simply put out a few harps in the cafe, and let anyone have a go, or learn a tune, or have a jam. Many visitors have used this as a chance to learn the basics, and decide whether to follow a dream of learning the instrument.
2nd Saturday of each month (except April) 1.00 to 3.30pm. (Free)
Teachers
There are some teachers for beginners in Coventry and frequent visits to the area by teacher Helen Naylor. Please email us for details.
Group classes
We are still intending to relaunch after-school classes for children, and possibly for adults too. Please check back for news.
